Open City Documentary Festival

Open City Documentary Festival creates an open space in London to nurture and champion the art of non-fiction cinema. Based at the UCL Anthropology’s Section for Public Anthropology, they deliver an annual documentary festival, training programmes, the bi-annual Non-Fiction journal and other events throughout the year that aim to challenge and expand the idea of documentary in all its forms.

 

Cat Video Fest

CatVideoFest is a compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos and classic internet powerhouses. It's a joyous communal experience, only available in theaters, and raises money for cats in need through partnerships with local cat charities, animal welfare organizations and shelters.

Classic Boat Festival

The annual boating extravaganza will see around 40 beautiful vintage and exquisitely preserved vessels assemble in the central basin of St Katharine Docks, including the war heroes, the Dunkirk Little Ships, Bates Starcraft and other impressive working vessels which visitors will be able to board and meet the caring owners. With an array of activities including boatbuilding workshops, live music and talks, each day will be marked with an opening and closing salute of horns. The festival continues ashore with food, entertainment, nautical goods and services available on Marble Quay. 

 

Turning Tides Festival

This free world music festival returns to Tide Square, bringing the creative community together on Greenwich Peninsula and promising a weekend of soulful summer sounds, with a wide range of brilliant musicians, street food, a pop-up bar and loads of spaces to explore. There will be eclectic live performances from Glastonbury festival artists, a quartet from Kyiv and an ultra-tight musicianship and powerful 9-piece band, plus many more artists.

 

Chilli Fest 2022

The Fulham Horticultural Society will be exhibiting a beautiful selection of flowers and produce by their top growers, who will give tips on growing perfect plants. There will be chilli tastings, home-grown chillies and chilli sauce for sale, and a chilli expert on hand for all your burning questions. If chilli tasting isn’t your idea of a well-rounded meal, there are plenty of other food and drink options available. Live music will be provided by Banda Bomba, an 8 piece Latin-jazz ensemble, serving up a spicy mix of salsa, jazz and funk grooves. Seating will be limited so please, bring your own picnic blankets, folding chairs and dancing shoes.

 

Twelfth Night
