New Year's Eve: Fireworks

Guide to New Year’s Eve fireworks and places to view them near Gravity Co-Living locations

Survived the Christmas mayhem, had a few days off as rest and relaxation and set your New Year intentions for a goal achieving 2023? All that’s left is to arrange your New Year’s Eve party to ring in a good forthcoming year. No New Year’s Eve would be fitting without some illuminating firework displays to set it all off – Gravity Co-Living has found some of the best fireworks going on near our locations to see in the New Year in proper style.

London Eye:

Listen to the Big Ben bells bong at the minute of midnight from the London Eye or along the Southbank followed by the great annual London fireworks. Whilst this is strictly a ticketed event, you can still view and experience the colourful display from as far afield as:

Primrose Hill just a short stroll away from Camden, Primrose Hill gives you a clear view of the city and a prime spot to see the fireworks light up the night sky.

(Nearest tubes: Chalk Farm, Camden Town)

Parliament Hill - If you don’t mind travelling a bit further out, you can also see the fireworks on these beautiful green area hilltops.

Hampstead Heath - it’s a little further out than Primrose Hill but there’s usually less people there, meaning you’ve got a shot at a better spot.

(Nearest tubes: Belsize Park, Hampstead)

Skylon, South Bank:

This well-known restaurant is open to anyone on New Year’s Eve and is ideally situated to have panoramic views across the Thames and South Bank – if you want to be indoors and see fireworks, this is the place for you. Although, tickets are a splash out. There’s also eye-catching floral installations and a top of the range evening menu. Best to book.

London Bridge Rooftop:

Tickets cost from £5pp and include a glass of Moet upon arrival. There will be DJs, food and music before you get to look out and see the amazing fireworks from the incredible vantage point of being on London Bridge.

Camden Town:

If you want both fireworks and entertainment, move from Primrose Hill to Camden Town's biggest weekly indie / rock night, Camden Rocks Club. Spinning indie rock icons over electronics through to 2023 down in the infamous The Underworld - over two bars, dance pit, elevated stage and tunnels of rock royalty history.

General admission: £23.60
